Can I deduct my donation to Habitat on my income taxes?

If you itemize your deductions, you may be able to deduct charitable contributions of money or property made to qualified organizations. Only donations actually made before the close of the tax year would be eligible.

    A portion of your required program cost supports the charitable efforts of the Habitat program. Depending on your country of origin, the trip cost may or may not be tax-deductible. Please consult a tax adviser concerning your specific situation.
