About Habitat AmeriCorps

You can serve as a full-time AmeriCorps member with Habitat for Humanity, helping families build strong and stable homes in communities throughout the U.S.

We offer service opportunities in community engagement, construction crew leadership, volunteer leadership, resource development and new program development.

Which program is right for me?

Habitat AmeriCorps National
Serve directly in the field with Habitat volunteers, families and community members. Our terms typically last ten and a half months.

Habitat AmeriCorps VISTA
Build long-term solutions by partnering with families with human, financial and material resources. Our terms typically last one year.

Our requirements to serve

You must be a U.S. citizen, national or lawful permanent resident at least 18 or older and have a high school diploma or GED. Each of our sites may have specific requirements related to the positions that are noted on the position descriptions.
