International Volunteer Program

International Volunteer Program

If you’ve been looking for an exciting opportunity to live overseas, volunteer your professional skillset and improve the lives of those around you, you’re in the right place. Whether you want to lend your talents to the work site or the office, we can find a place for you.

From three to twelve months or more, our international Habitat offices are looking for reliable, dedicated volunteers to help us advance our mission to provide safe, affordable housing around the world. You may already know that we can utilize your construction skills as volunteer builders, site assistants and foreman. But this program also allows us to apply your unique business skills such as social media advisor, grant writing, volunteer coordination, Global Village assistants, research assistants, communications, finance, program or resource development, as well as other administrative roles. It takes a team to run a Habitat office, and we’d love you to consider joining us.

Chances are that you have a global perspective. You’ve traveled and seen the needs of others around the world. You have stories, and names to go with the faces. But now you’re ready to give back. You know that you can make a difference at home, but you want to explore new places while living like a local. You love other cultures and stamps in your passport. Now, you’re looking to channel that passion into purpose. An international long-term volunteer placement can provide you with an outlet for both. We need excited people who are willing to do the hard work of improving and strengthening communities. Substandard housing is a worldwide problem, and it will take devotion and commitment to create lasting solutions. We are looking for individuals who want to leave a place better than they found it.
